St. Mary's

St. Mary’s is a small, friendly congregation worshipping in the oldest church in Staines. We enjoy a traditional service style – sometimes referred to as “high church”. This means that we often use incense (traditionally used to symbolise our prayers rising to God) and sing mainly traditional hymns, with the help of a choir and organ music. Our main Sunday service is a Eucharist (Holy Communion) at 9:00 am.

The service lasts around an hour and a quarter, and all are welcome to join us for tea or coffee in the hall after the service. There will be someone at the main door of the church to welcome you and handing out service sheets, who will be happy to answer any questions you have, before, during or after the service.

St Mary’s is situated at the centre of Staines Village, on the corner of Wraysbury Road, Church St and Vicarage Road, postcode TW18 4YF. There is a small car park signposted off Wraysbury Road. St Mary’s has a ramp for wheelchair access at the west door (situated under the tower), accessible toilet, baby changing facilities and a hearing loop.
