Who We Are

Meet Jonathan

Jonathan has served the Parish of Staines since 2019, helping people grow in their faith, experience God’s love, and find a place to belong.

His ministry journey began in the Middle East in 2004 after feeling God’s calling, whilst being encouraged to take the next step by church leaders and fellow parishioners who recognised his gifts and passion for people.

Over twenty years he has served the church in Iran, Armenia, Turkey and across Europe, including supporting the underground church in Iran.

After moving to the UK with his family in 2010, Jonathan continued serving local churches in South East England.

Drawing on his Persian background, he founded the Persian Anglican Community of London in 2018 and now supports Persian-language worship and discipleship from within the parish.

When he is not working, Jonathan enjoys making new friends, riverside walks, and baking at home with his family.
