Weddings
Planning your wedding comes with many exciting decisions, and one of the most meaningful is choosing where you will say “I do”. A wedding is one of life’s great moments, a celebration of love, commitment, and joy. Our churches offer a beautiful setting in which to begin your married life together.
Many couples choose St Mary’s and St Peter’s not only for their charm and character, but because a church wedding adds depth and significance to the day. Here, your vows are made before your family and friends, and in the presence of God, a moment of hope and blessing for the journey ahead.
If you live in the parish or have a meaningful connection to it, you are warmly welcome to enquire about booking your wedding with us. Even if you have no prior link, it is still possible to marry here by attending services for a period beforehand. We also marry couples where one or both partners are divorced, and simply ask that you arrange an initial conversation with the vicar before a date can be confirmed.
