St Mary's
9:30am · Every Sunday except the 3rd Sunday of the month
St Mary's is a small, friendly congregation where we share a traditional Holy Communion service. Our worship is rooted in prayer and the Word, with well-known hymns.
Everyone is warmly invited to join us for tea and coffee in the hall afterwards.

St Peter's
10:30am · Every Sunday
St Peter’s is a welcoming congregation offering a lively, informal Holy Communion service with modern and traditional music led by our band. Children aged 4 and above are welcome to join in with our Junior Church.
After the hour-long service, everyone is invited to stay for tea or coffee and friendly chat.

Intergenerational Service

Once a month everyone is invited to come together for a joyful all-ages service with prayers, a band, scripture and communion.

Mid-Week Service
10:30am · Every Thursday at St Peter's
Our mid-week service is an opportunity to take a break from life’s demands and reflect on God’s saving work for us through Jesus.
Junior Church runs during term time. Children leave for junior church after the first hymn and return for communion at the end. It gives children the chance to explore each Sunday's Bible readings through videos, games and activities. The quizzes get surprisingly competitive, and a highlight is when Father Jonathan invites the children to share what they've learned. We have a friendly group of around ten regulars, and new children are always warmly welcome.
We're currently looking for new volunteers to help with Junior Church and Intergenerational Worship. If you'd like to get involved, please have a word with the welcome team after a service, or Jonathan who can explain what they need. They'd love to hear from you.
Junior Church
Two Churches, One Community
The Parish of St Mary’s and St Peter’s is home to two distinct and much-loved churches, each with its own character, history and style of worship. Together they form one parish family, united in faith and rooted in the same love of God and community.
This is one of the great strengths of the Anglican tradition: the freedom to worship in different ways while remaining part of the same body. Whether you are drawn to the peace and tradition of St Mary's or the energy and informality of St Peter's, you will find a genuine welcome and a place to belong.
St Mary’s
Worshipping in the oldest church in Staines, St Mary's offers a contemplative and unhurried experience of faith. Its traditional style is well suited to those who find meaning in quiet reflection, the rhythm of liturgy and a deep sense of continuity with centuries of Christian worship.
St Peter’s
Set beside the River Thames in its Victorian Gothic church, St Peter's brings together people of all ages and backgrounds in a relaxed and vibrant atmosphere. It is a natural home for families, newcomers and anyone who wants to explore faith in an informal and welcoming setting.
Whatever your background and wherever you are on your faith journey, both churches are open to you. You do not need to have all the answers — just come as you are.
