Daybreak Respite Care

St Mary’s & St Peter’s

Daybreak Respite Care

Daybreak offers care, entertainment and good food to elderly and disabled people living in the Borough of Spelthorne, while their carer takes a well-earned break. Running since 2008, the centre is led by a Nurse Manager and trained volunteers, several of whom hold medical qualifications.

When and where

We meet every Tuesday, 10am to 3pm, at St Peter's Church Hall, Laleham Road, Staines.

What to expect

A warm, sociable day with care, activities and refreshments, including a two-course lunch. Most medical conditions can be accommodated - however the building and facilities are not suitable for those who may wander or who need hoisting.

Accessibility

The hall has a ramped entrance, an accessible toilet, and parking.

Cost

£35 per day, including all refreshments and lunch.

Transport

Carers need to arrange transport. The manager can advise on other options, including Spelride, for wheelchair users and others.

Accessibility

We want to make our buildings and services accessible for everyone. That’s why we have a page dedicated to detailing how our church has been adapted to meet different needs.

If there's something we've not yet considered, please do let us know — we'll always do our best to help.
